LS Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc., is a full-service Commercial Real Estate Brokerage and Management Company based in Overland Park, Kansas. The firm was founded in 1990 and has provided professional real estate services to a wide range of International, National, Regional and Local Companies. Our commercial real estate services include: Property Sales and Leasing, Property Management, Asset Management, Valuation and Consultation. The company represents a portfolio of commercial properties in excess of 14,000,000 square feet with a portfolio value exceeding $800,000,000.00. The firm has active project here locally, regionally and across the nation.

Paul Licausi President

President, is a seasoned commercial real estate professional he has been active in the industry for over 34 years. Paul founded LS Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc., in 1990 with a focus on Brokerage & Management of commercial properties. He is fortunate to actively represent a wide range of local, regional, national and international clients for their varied and specialized needs across the United States. His activities have included the successful closing of numerous property lease and sale transactions with total value well in excess of $1,000,000,000.00.

In addition to his role as President of LS Commercial, Paul leads a number of other companies which provide key services to the commercial real estate sector which include; development, construction, capital advisory and project/development consultation. Further, Paul is active in a wide variety of organizations including a past role as a member of the Board of Directors for Kansas City SmartPort and Southwest Johnson County Economic Development Council. He is a current member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), NAIOP Forum Development Group Board, Kansas City Area Development Council, the Commercial Real Estate Council as well as several community non-profit and charitable organizations. Paul is also a member of the Midwest Real Estate Hall of Fame and a contributing editor to several trade publications.

Paul Licausi Jr Accountant/Financial Analysist

Paul is the head of the finance and account division. He has been with the company since 2012 and has extensive knowledge in financing commercial real estate deals. He has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from St. Louis University and a master’s degree in Accounting from University of Missouri, Kansas City. Paul brings an extensive education and strong work ethic to the company. he is responsible for accounting and finance activities for several properties within our managed portfolio. He is also involved in the creation of our annual operating budgets as well as capital formation. Paul is active in alumni associations for St. Louis University and University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Leonard Licausi Brokerage and Project Management

Leonard is a key staff member in our brokerage and project management group. He has played a key role in both brokerage and project management assignments. His most recent project management assignments included a 210,000 square foot build-to-suit for W.W. Grainger which was successfully completed in mid-2015 and new 454,000 square foot state-of-the-art distribution center for Hallmark Cards. In addition to his project management responsibilities, Leonard provides leasing, sales and consultation services to clients located regionally and locally

Doug Farchmin General Counsel

Joining the company in October 2019, Doug brought with him over a decade of private practice experience covering all facets of commercial real estate law and property management. He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental law and policy from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Juris Doctorate focusing on real estate transactions from the University of Tulsa, College of Law. He provides legal advice and general support to all company divisions and a wide range of company affairs. An avid golfer and outdoorsman, when not hard a work he can likely be found teeing it up or casting a line in some remote pond or stream.

Diana Styers Chief Financial Officer

Diane manages a staff of finance and accounting personnel as part of the client services division. She has a bachelor’s degree in Math and History and a post graduate degree in Accounting. Diana taught high school math for several years and has 40 years’ experience in all aspects of accounting and financial analysis, 30 of those years are with LS Commercial. Needless to say she has witnessed the vitality and growth of this company and looks forward to its outstanding future.

Charlotte Laverentz Director of Property Management

Charlotte has been a member of the LS Commercial Staff for over 20 years and oversees a portfolio of commercial real estate exceeding 10,000,000 square feet located throughout the Midwest. In addition to her extensive experience managing commercial properties, she is a licensed Property Manager in both Kansas and Missouri, has over 40 years of administrative and facility management experience and continues to broaden her knowledge. Charlotte oversees a staff of property managers, maintenance personnel and security officers which make up the property services division.

Angela Kime Assistant Property Manager

Angela joined LS Commercial in spring 2021. She has experience in Human Resources and Training & Development and also spent several years in Hospitality Management. As a proud Soccer Mom, you can find Angela on the sidelines of a soccer field most weekends, if not riding motorcycles with her new husband.

Angela Lengyel Marketing

Angela joined the company in May, 2013. She has a bachelor’s degree from Benedictine College with a degree in communications. She manages both internal and external marketing activities for the company. This includes promotional marketing campaigns for properties we are marketing, project announcements for new development projects and highlights for activities relation to our tenant base. These are just a few of the responsibilities that she is involved in at the company. Angela served as an intern with LS Commercial Real Estate for 5 years, prior to joining the firm full time.

Carol Sullivan Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Joining the staff at LS Commercial in April, 2021, Carol’s enthusiasm, energy and multitasking are a valuable asset to the entire team. She brings over 30 years of experience with her.

John Smith Director of Industrial Real Estate Services

John has been with LS Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. for the last 20 years and involved with the Kansas City business community for over 40 years. Focusing on brokerage and development in the industrial market, Mr. Smith has completed millions of dollars in lease and sale transactions in the Kansas City area and throughout the Midwest region of the U.S. His extensive experience includes banking, business management and new business development, including startup businesses. Over the years John has been involved with many professional organizations, such as Kansas City Smart Port, Blue Valley Industrial Association, Kansas City Crime Commission, while holding leadership positions with various nonprofit organizations in the community including the Volunteer Center of Johnson County, National Kidney Foundation of Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri, Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care, Campfire of Kansas City and also working with Chambers of Commerce in the Greater Kansas City area.

Brent Vance Brokerage and Project Management

Brent joined LS Commercial in 2019. With more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate he brings strong relationships with nearly all involved in the Kansas City commercial real estate community. He also has a particular emphasis on the use of technology and data and has shown many in the business how to use it to find and negotiate deals. Now Brent will use those skills to benefit LS Commercial. He has a strong fascination with using research and analytics to find opportunities
